Me and My Blog....
I was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa, for the first 12 years of my life. I know what you're thinking....Where is that? Smack dab in the middle of the good ol' USA, or as some may know, the head of the elf. I started writing when I was 9 and dreaming of one day writing for living. My family and I moved to Charlotte, North Carolina when I was 13, and I have stayed within NC ever since. [I will travel! I promise!]
I have since graduated with a degree in English, and am now working as a Communication Specialist. After school ended, I have found I have a lot more time for hobbies. I go to Zumba three times a week and yoga on the weekends. I spend time at the pool, out and about or just relaxing indoors with my friends.
But my evenings are reserved for us..
Hello Optimist...
is still in the works, much like I am, being tweaked, changed and added to each and every day. I am interested in so much; health, beauty, DIY and new recipes. So that's where we will begin. I hope to offer a little something for everyone. I want to thank you for taking the time to read about me and for being patient with me as everything comes together.
